Helmet Usage
Helmet use while operating a bicycle is a key behavior to reducing the likelihood of suffering a head injury or serious . However, helmet usage should not be limited to only when operating a bicycle. Helmets use should be adopted when skateboarding, rollerblading, skiing/snowboarding, playing sports (baseball, football, hockey, lacrosse, etc.), operating a scooter (motorized or manual), and motorcycles.

- As a whole, less than 30% of undergraduates 'mostly or always' wear a helmet while operating a bicycle.
- The same is true across sex/gender, with only 29% or each reporting helmet use 'mostly or always'
