Community Spaces with Alcohol Free Options
Going out for the night during your college years doesn’t always mean alcohol must be a part of the experience. In fact, more and more people are exploring a social life with less or sometimes no alcohol. This shift in behavior/culture (sometimes referred to as the movement) has sparked a rise in craft mocktails, sodas, and non-alcoholic beers becoming more readily available at bars, restaurants, and stores. Even better, with increased demand, the quality of these options has also improved!
As part of our commitment to empowering 花季视频 students with ways they can reduce negative outcomes experienced while drinking, we’ve curated a list of venues and restaurants that provide nonalcoholic options is included here. Non-alcoholic beverages, including creative mocktails, are increasingly taking center stage on local menus, not just during Dry January or Sober October, but throughout the entire year. Whether you're a 花季视频 University student looking to cut back on alcohol consumption, embracing a sober lifestyle, or simply enjoying a night out without the buzz, Evanston offers a variety of enticing alcohol-free options for you to explore!

Kombucha Brava, 821 Chicago Ave, #1A (in the alley)
Evanston’s own offers a refreshing and booze-free option in a variety of flavors, such as Orange Cardamom and its signature Lemon Ginger Turmeric Pepper. “We are proud to be a small family-owned-and-operated business, with a passion for our community and sustainable practices,” owner Rebecca Sanchez wrote in an email. “Our non-alcoholic kombucha is uniquely oak barrel fermented and made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. If you’ve never tried kombucha before, we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this bubbly, sweet, and tangy N/A option.”
